Scheduled Airport Closures – Operations Planning
Aerowise informs all its customers and operators that, due to scheduled maintenance and renovations at various airports in the region, full or partial closures will occur on the dates detailed below:
URUGUAY
SUMU – Montevideo
August 12-14, 2025
August 19-21, 2025
September 2-4, 2025
Reason: Runway work.
SUAG – Artigas
July 29, 30, and 31, 2025
August 1-31, 2025
September 1-30, 2025 (10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time)
Reason: Control tower closed; airspace reclassification to class “G.”
ARGENTINA
SAWG – Río Gallegos (Civil Pilot Norberto Fernández)
Total closure from September 1 to December 22, 2025
Reason: Complete repair of the main runway.
ECUADOR
SEGU – Guayaquil (José Joaquín de Olmedo)
September 16 to 18, 2025 (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time)
September 23 to 25, 2025 (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. local time)
Reason: Scheduled runway maintenance.
