While much of the global business aviation conversation continues to focus on fleet growth and market expansion, Europe appears to be advancing along a different axis: what operating executive aviation will look like over the next ten years. This was one of the key themes emerging from AERO Friedrichshafen 2026, where Aerowise was represented by Nicole Bayugar — Operations & Business Development at Aerowise Europe — who took part in strategic meetings, networking sessions, and discussions with operators, manufacturers, technology developers, and European suppliers.
Far from being merely a static aircraft exhibition, AERO Friedrichshafen 2026 once again established itself as one of the leading idea laboratories within the global aviation industry, particularly in areas related to operational digitalisation, sustainability, infrastructure, and the premium passenger experience.
One of the most visible aspects throughout the event was the paradigm shift currently shaping European aviation. The discussion is no longer centred solely on aircraft performance or range, but rather on overall operational efficiency: consumption, emissions, connectivity, turnaround times, digital integration, and the ability to adapt to evolving regulations.
