Aerowise took part in the Aviation Summit organized by La Nación, actively participating in Chapter 2: “The Aviation to Come: Regulations, Technology, and Expansion,” one of the most relevant sessions of the event, focused on the future of the aviation industry.

The panel took place between 09:35 and 10:05 and featured Perla Fagundez, CEO of Aerowise, alongside Gonzalo Pérez Corral of JetSMART Airlines and Gonzalo Alejandro Romero of Air Europa.

During the session, the speakers addressed the key factors currently reshaping aviation at a global level: the evolution of regulatory frameworks, the impact of technology on operations, and expansion opportunities in emerging markets.

In her remarks, Perla Fagundez shared the business aviation perspective, highlighting its role as a strategic complement within the aviation ecosystem.
Business aviation is not a luxury, it is an efficiency tool. It allows us to optimize time, connect non-traditional destinations, and execute operations that require flexibility and precision,” she stated.

One of the central topics of the discussion was the advancement of digitalization across the industry. In this context, the importance of integrating technological tools to improve planning, optimize decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency was emphasized.
Today, real-time information is key. Technology not only improves operations, but also reduces uncertainty and allows us to anticipate different scenarios,” Fagundez noted.

The discussion also underscored the need for more agile and coordinated regulatory frameworks capable of supporting industry growth and facilitating both operational expansion and the integration of new technologies. “The challenge is not only to innovate, but to ensure that regulation evolves at the same pace as the industry,” she added.

The panel also explored the growth potential of aviation in the region, highlighting the role of key stakeholders — airlines, operators, service providers, and authorities — in building a more efficient, integrated, and sustainable industry.

Regarding the future of the sector, the CEO of Aerowise emphasized:
The aviation of the future will be defined by integration: of systems, stakeholders, and information. Those who understand this dynamic will have a clear competitive advantage.”

Aerowise’s participation in this forum reinforces its position as an active player within the industry, bringing a vision focused on innovation, efficiency, and the development of solutions tailored to the evolving demands of aviation. The Aviation Summit by La Nación once again established itself as a key platform for exchanging ideas and shaping a shared agenda for the future of air transport.
